✈️ Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Raises Alarm Over Drug Use Among Nigerian Pilots ⚠️

 Former Abia State Governor and current senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has sparked national concern after alleging that some Nigerian pilots use drugs, including marijuana, before flying. 😳

Speaking during a Senate session, Kalu described the claim as a “serious security threat”, urging aviation authorities to investigate and ensure that only sober, certified pilots are allowed to fly.

In response, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said it maintains strict medical and drug screening procedures for all pilots and promised to review current safety protocols to reassure the public.

The NDLEA has also pledged to collaborate with aviation regulators to keep Nigeria’s airspace drug-free.
